Richard has another book out!
It's a very cheerful stocking filler
Obviously you need to buy 'The Hills Are Stuffed With Swedish Girls' first.
But we wanted to let you know that Richard has a brand new title out and it's also a lot of fun.
'365 Reasons To Be Cheerful' looks at the brighter side of life every day of the year.
It's a great Christmas gift and will make the backs of your legs go red if you put it in the loo.

The Glen Coe Book Signing was a hoot!
Thank you so much to everyone who came along
Richard Happer, the author, was there at the top of the Devil's Staircase in Glencoe on Saturday 18th September.
It didn't rain (much) and lots of crazy, lovely people came by to say hello and have a sausage.
And what with the follow-up beers in the Clachaig, the second second edition is now well and truly launched.
Some real-life Swedish Girls even showed up! (Where have they been hiding all this time?
There are more pics on Richard's blog
The first edition is now officially SOLD OUT, but you can now buy the glorious second edition direct from us today for less than you'd pay on Amazon. Yes please, a shiny new copy for me.
The second edition is here!
Hopefully it won't upset any executive government agencies
When we first published 'The Hills Are Stuffed With Swedish Girls' we had no idea it would prove so popular.
But it has very nearly sold out its first run of 2,000 copies - which is not bad for an unheralded novel from a debut author. Particularly since none of the buggers in the mainstream press would deign to review it.
Nevermind, plenty of you have been kind enough to share your thoughts on it, and what you've said has been wonderful (see Reviews).
Thank you to everyone for buying and for passing the word on. We really appreciate it.
While all the brouhaha with the Ordnance Survey was going on, we commissioned a lovely new cover from our designer.
This now graces the new Second Edition of the book, which is now available.
We find this cat… NOT GUILTY!!
Now the cover dispute really IS resolved
Well, who would have thought it? After 5 months of high level legal wrangling, the Ordnance Survey have graciously stopped objecting to the cover of ‘The Hills Are Stuffed With Swedish Girls’.
Hurray! A great day for common sense, humorous literature and fat ginger cats.
We at Jonescat Publishing aren’t exactly sure why they changed their minds now, but we’re happy they have. So let’s just draw a contour line under things and move on.
Because this means we can now print a second edition of the book!
And to celebrate the launch of the new edition, we will be holding a book signing UNIQUE IN THE HISTORY OF BOOK SIGNINGS.
On Saturday the 18th of September 2010, the author, Richard Happer, will be signing copies of the new OS-friendly edition of his novel at the TOP OF THE DEVIL’S STAIRCASE IN GLENCOE.
At an altitude of 1800 feet above sea level (550m), this is the highest part of the West Highland Way where much of the story is set. (It’s at grid ref 216 576 on OS sheet 41 – please buy this map, they’re lovely people really.)
If the wind doesn’t blow every book to Norway, this promises to be a grand adventure. Macrae assures us that scantily Swedish girls will ‘absolutely completely definitely’ be there. Jonesy himself may also be in attendance, depending on his business commitments. Sausages will certainly be served.
Come and say hello!
